Wire Tree Class
Have you ever wanted to learn how to wire wrap? Well, keep reading to get all the details about this class! With just a little creativity, some patience, some wire and a few tools, you can make almost anything into a wearable piece of jewelry! Don’t miss this chance to join the artist Jai as she shares more than just the basics of wire wrapping jewelry.
What you will learn: How to create a copper wire tree on a crystal cabochon. Our class will consist of learning the fundamentals of tree making out of wire and how to set a stone securely. You will also get a little view as to how to wire weave the bail for your chain to hang on, a faux leather cord will be provided.
All materials, tools and a variety of stones are available as well. There will be many variations in the stones and their shape, trees, and weaving patterns so that each individual can pick and choose to create their own unique personal tree pendant. Those who wish to bring a stone: Make sure the stone you have is a Cabochon cut, as that is the cut of stone we will be working with. Palm stones are not preferred, as they will be bigger in comparison and will require more time to complete. Eye wear is recommended as we will be doing a lot of fine detail and meticulous work.
